Methylcobalamin B12 Injection (In Office Only)
Methylcobalamin (5000mcg), Methylcobalamin is a biologically active form of Vitamin B12. This means that your body can use it immediately without going through any metabolic steps to make it “body friendly”. Methylcobalamin is considered the most potent form of Vitamin B12 found in nature and the only active form of Vitamin B-12 in the brain outside the mitochondria. We need methylcobalamin for the healthy development and sustenance of our circulatory, immune and nervous systems.

WHAT IT DOES: Generally a patient will experience a boost of energy and alertness after a B12 injection. Methylcobalamin is believed to improve brain and nervous
system function, detoxification, and oxidative stress within the body. This version of B12 also plays a key role in sleep. It helps the brain fill up its
neurotransmitter "gas tank" when neurotransmitters are produced from amino acids.

    • Methylcobalamin differs from the most commonly found commercial version of vitamin B12, which is Cyanocobalamin. Cyanocobalamin is a synthetic, and inactive, form of Vitamin B12 that has to undergo a number of metabolic processes before it leads to any benefit for the patient. This can be problematic in people with certain deficiencies and health issues. Unfortunately, this is the most common form of Vitamin B12 on the market and is found in most Vitamin B-Complex’s.

Injections are performed in the office in Decatur, GA and are not available for shipment.  Health survey required before receiving injections. Appointments required for initial injection.  Subsequents injections can be performed as walk in when office is open.

    • Refund available 24 hours prior to services rendered.
